£89.88 shipped to the UK from Simpsons. Along with the Chubby, has to be a contender for the most expensive synthetic on the market.

Simpson prices are ridiculous, wait until it appears at one of the other vendors and it'll be a lot cheaper and priced inclusive of VAT.

Yup, Simpson prices are Simpson prices and their brushes are excellent. I would not expect to see any brushes listed in Simpsons Limited Edition Section being sold through vendors though, only direct from Simpsons.

It certainly goes against current pricing trends for synthetics, particularly when you see the number of vendors divesting themselves of more expensive brands such as Muhle.

The regulations may be different due to Simpsons being located on IOM, but certainly on the UK mainland its mandatory for consumer prices to be shown inclusive of VAT.

That would be about time considering I bought a Chubby II synthetic LE when the were first introduced about 2 years ago iirc. I bought a Classic I after that also. Both of these I believe are only available direct from Simpsons. From my pov none of the synthetic brushes from Simpsons should be in the LE section. Synthetics are so common and form part of most all makers lines as a standard production item sold through vendors.

They are since the Isle of Man is as self-governing Crown Dependency and is not part of the United Kingdom.

Still part of Great Britain as in the geographical term/location 'The British Isles'.
Actually not in the first instance. Great Britain comprises England, Scotland and Wales and a few islands (Wight, Scilly, Shetland, Hebrides), but not the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands (Jersey and Guernsey and their subsidiaries Alderney and Sark) which are self-governing Crown dependencies. The Isle of Man, however, is part of the British Isles, which comprises Great Britain and Northern Ireland (the United Kingdom), Ireland and their many other islands.
