Question to those who have a chubby synth. Should I get one? There's a lovely butterscotch one available now.

[What I really want is the butterscotch Manchurian, of course, but the strain of that on my wallet is too much atm...]

I'd recommend it, I'm very happy with mine, but the price is somewhat eye-watering for the Butterscotch when you add vat as well.

Halvor, it's one of my regular go to brushes. Can't recommend them highly enough as synthetics go. The tuxedo knot is on par if you fancy putting together a brush!

Do you pay EU VAT in Norway? If not then it's not a bad price, but the ivory one is available for much cheaper.

In answer to your question: should I get one? Yes - they're brilliant.

Thanks for chiming in, guys :) My experience with synthetics has been a Muhle silvertip fibre from 2015 and the two knots (Suave and Duro) that came with the PAA Switchback 400 -- neither of which turned me away from my badgers. But if these really do give that wall of badger feel, then they might just be my cup of tea.

One of the few perks of being outside the union is indeed the exemption from EU VAT, so the price is 90 pounds delivered for the butterscotch directly from Mark. Ivory, on the other hand, via G&C, is ca 70 EUR delivered, so about 1/3 less. Vanity costs. Then there is such a thing called customs and duties at our borders too...

@Dj-Steved Thank you, yes very short after that Simpson and Mark became very busy.

I really want Simpsom 58 and emperor 2 in Best (my favourite grade hair)

Only minus to this Silvertip brush is the soap residue I can't get rid off where hair meets handle

I used this brush yesterday with Coates and had lather explosion after 10 sec

This Rover is one of my favorite too! If I had to choose only one it would be the Rover!
I remember seeing one for sale on BST, I think over on the Nook, last year, definitely an eye catching piece.
