Get one picked. Stop ducking out
You know, I used to dislike that brush but it is slowly winning me over to keep a place in my brush rotation. I'll have to say it is like lathering with a cloud, just absolutely silky soft on the face. It is a very efficient lather maker to boot regardless if you are using a hard soap, cream or shave stick. Most synthetics I have used seem to have that last bit in common.
The humble Plisson synthetic.
Old tech fibres, basic handle and low price... If it could speak it would simply say "I'm #1 so why try harder?"

On a serious note depending on the day, if I want gel tips, just soft individual hairs (not overly clumped) or if I want more backbone than tip feel, or if I prefer less splay when using a cream, or greater splay yet lots of backbone, or greater scrub than tip feel minus gel tips. All can be had with differing brushes, delivered to the highest degree.

My fave brush happens to be my new one. It's a Vladimir Ferdmann 30mm TGN 2 band. It's a monster of a brush and I asked for a good knot and Vladimir gave me the best one he had. I know TGN's can vary but this one is as good as my Shavemac brushes in all honesty and the quality of the turning and resin is superb. Pillow soft but with great backbone. This is my new standard to beat.
