Shaving scared skin

I have some large scars on my neck due to a recent operation. I find that I'm cutting myself more regularly and due to the nature of the scars I'm missing some hairs. I use a DE razor. Do you think a shavette would give me more flexibility. I was considering the feather artist sr. Thanks in advance.

Try applying vitamin E oil daily.
It'll help with the scarring.

Personally I would do nothing at all if your operation is so recent, especially if the scars are tender.

I am wondering if something like the Leaf twig or thorn might be a better choice for now.
They are very light and I would say less likely to scrape the scar unlike a DE that has potential to catch in-between the lather bar and blade, if that makes sense?
