When it comes to the scent, I didn't think anything could beat B&M Seville, but that one does. The scent is just fabulous, and I cannot stop thinking about it – it was almost a spiritual experience 😃
Lathering was very quick and easy, but somehow I felt like I was missing a bit of slickness and protection? Not sure about that, as I ended up with a great, irritation-free shave. The soap needs more testing to judge, and I cannot wait to use it again.

I understand now why shavers praise the Ultima base so much – definitely top-notch performance, just terrific.
The Tobacco Road smells great, but the scent is way too weak for me, as I love it when the whole bathroom smells like the soap. That’s why I’m a bit lost – performance-wise, it was one of the best soaps I’ve ever tried, but the lack of a strong scent puts it at a disadvantage.

Is there any Ultima soap with much stronger scent profile? @Randy, do you know anything about it?

Dawid: First of all, I don't see any Ultima in this picture 🤣

Secondly, Ariana & Evans soaps are now selling in Europe. That means, the regulations are probably different for the fragrance oil.

Soaps that brought directly from the US (Maggards) few years ago, were very powerful. Newest formulas in Europe, most of them are milder. I only have Tobacco Road & Cathedral in Ultima. Both are mild scents, the aftershave splashes are better in longevity though. You may try use one.

If you can, hunt a K2e soap. Some shaving stores have some stock left. This base is discontinued, but I find that the scents were overall better and more powerful, even without using a splash. The base is also excellent.

Are you implying that the EU (the same one that will not allow me to sell my razors to all EU countries easily) regulations are to blame? It wouldn't surprise me at all, but Zingari Man and Noble Otter have importers in the EU (so must be compliant with EU regulations), and their scents are really strong. Am I missing something?

Oh, didn't know that tbh. But you are in Sweden ! Why not sell ??

It was just a thought, because my Zingari & NO don't have a strong scent either.

Yesterday I went for the Barbershop from Stirling. As with the Tobacco Road from A&E, the performance of the soap is just terrific, but the scent is way too weak for my taste – a soap needs to fill my whole bathroom so I can enjoy it fully.

Then time to use an air freshener (in the bathroom) with this scent 😄

Keep in mind that artisans don't want to risk irritations, so they have all now tame down the use of fragrance oils.
