One dictionary definition being: "the making of objects, images, music, etc. that are beautiful or that express feelings" would qualify that label as art, as long as someone finds it pretty.
More on topic - how do you find the aftershave to perform (not necessarily just scent-wise), if you've had it before?

I would personally define art as human expression and not something that is handed over to computers,i don't dislike the label but i wouldn't call it art,the splashes are the best I've tried,he's improved the formula,the first iterations were a bit tacky feeling on the skin.

Your point is well articulated. Yes, computers can generate images, sounds and words but people create art.

Thanks mate,i think it's a slippery slope regarding handing over control to machines however close to sentient they may be,at the least it will kill creativity,at it's worst it could be game over,its just a wider concern of mine and I'm glad you didn't see it as nit picking of your original commentPoint taken. I've heard art being called a form of human expression before.
But is being human really a prerequisite, and is there any agreement on what the expression has to be in order to become art?
There have to be some requirements, surely, because if I went and called my random fantabulous stickmen art, there are people who would be very tempted to murder me with a soft end of a paint brush.
Originality and inventiveness probably aren't quite it either - people usually copy, to some extent, what nature or others have done/made before.
Handing control over to machines is something rather different, and I don't think people using AI generating imagery would be it.
It doesn't preclude people from doing art themselves, although it might, at some point, render it not sensible as a form of employment, like automation has done before for some forms of manual labour.
What I'm getting at is that the devil is, as usual, in the details, but those seem to be kind of murky.
Maybe I just need to hit the hay.
In any case, I'd rather not derail the thread, so I'll just end my musings on the topic here.
