Rockwell Model T

My experience has been completely opposite of most in here. The razor is impeccably finished with tight tolerances and precise blade adjustment. It has good balance with good feel in the hands from the knurling on the handle. I've probably had about 10 shaves with it and not a single issue with the Model T. No harshness at all from the razor from 1-6 on the dial.

I will say that perhaps there could be an issue with the razor head being a bit oversized and bulbous for working around tight spaces in particular the stache area. I can't speak of that because I grow and maintain my mustache. But, it has proven to be a nice razor around the corners of my mouth and great around Sir Adam.

Again, perhaps I was lucky enough to receive a razor that was actually assembled correctly with properly produced parts that actually went through and passed q/c protocols. I feel for those that have not had the same experience that I've had since I received mine about a month ago. There are plenty of horror stories of poor quality assembly and finishing. Fortunately for me, this has not been the case thus far. Can't speak for longevity as only time will tell.

One more thing I'd like to mention is this. I have both the Rockwell 6s & 6c razors and I find that the Model T exhibits the same smoothness as its older stablemates but, imo and experience it offers a better and more efficient feeling shave with a tad bit more blade feel.

It has been an excellent performer so far....

I really want to like the Model T but the opinions on it have been all over the place.
No word from Rockwell either. I'd hoped they'd have put something out explaining what's going on with this razor. I've read great reviews and also some really bad reviews and opinions on this razor.
I only see ads on social media etc., now with the 6s & 6C, both of which are absolutely brilliant razors for me.
I think I'll pass on the model T...for now anyway...!

If you like the 6C/S you will like the MT with the advantage of being adjustable on the fly unlike the 6 as it to much hassle changing plates between passes.

The fit and finish are good with no complaints from me, I can't imagine you would be disappointed in this Razor if you like the 6S/C

So my Model T has now gone form the USA to Germany and then to the UK. It has now been misdirected 3 times to a variety of mail centres throughout the UK albeit mainly in the south. Great. Well done RM. Finally had the expected customs notification which is £7.95. Less than I thought it would be but of course the aforementioned thieving no good useless misdirecting bast**rds have added their own £8.00 handling fee. SO, £15. 95 to add and it is being delivered Wednesday fingers crossed.

Similar to @Str8Mug, received a well finished razor. Certainly not wolfman finish, but what you’d expect from a merkur etc. It’s a smooth shaver, similar to the 6S and C, but able to go a little bit more efficient. Value for money? Your call. There’s other adjustables such as progress and variant that perform just as well in my opinion for less.
