If anyone has such a razor, it would be interesting to chat.

In the meantime, I will tell my story.

I like unusual and vintage razors, and if they match and I am lucky, then I may have an update. That's what happened this time, browsing vintage razors on Ebay, I came across this razor, the price was so sweet ($6) that I couldn't resist.
I managed to become the owner of a complete set in very good condition: razor; case; instructions and a pack of blades (two blades in a pack. The pack is intact, only the film is torn).

In general, there is very little information about this razor and it consists of 3 facts: manufacturer Nelpin Mfg. Co., Inc (USA); years of production - from the late 50s to the early 60s; it was positioned as a women's. That's all, this historical excursion ends.

Constructively, it is a monoblock, where the blade is attached to the bottom plate, which is then locked into a V-shaped “lid”, secured with an elastic lock. The lock is opened with a slider on the side of the lid. The quality of the fit is at a very high level and the locking occurs with a clear click. The razor cover is a mirror in which the reflection is really visible, and on the lid there is a reflector (this is such a design vision).
Parameters: Weight 60g. LxWxH (in the most protruding parts) - 44x29x22 mm. . The body has a certain taper.

The razor is designed for standard DE blades.

Can you shave your face with this? I haven’t tried it yet, everything is ahead, but there is a video where it shaves quite successfully.

Shave Soap- Tabac
Razor- Dainteeshave
Blade – Gillette Silver Blue
Shaving brush – Yaqi Surf
Aftershave –Floid The Genuine

The time has come .
The razor is cleaned, disinfected and prepared for shaving. I loaded a proven blade, applied proven soap to my face and sent my self-preservation instinct for a walk. So, preparing my thoughts for hemostatics, I made the first move on my 5-day-old stubble. After that, I had to stop and process the information received: the soap disappeared from my face, I didn’t feel the blade, I didn’t hear the sound, but the hair disappeared. I continued. Experimenting with the location of my fingers, angles and movements, the first pass was completed. It turns out that this is not a toy, but a fairly working tool, which, without a single speck, shaved productively from the first pass. Then I dared and waved this brick for the second and third passes without any fear. There were no problems with movements towards myself and away from myself. Three passes and we have an excellent DFS without any visible skin damage (Floyd did not burn more than usual). Shaving under the nose and lower lip was quite simple. The only thing I had to play with a little is the temple line precisely because of the shape of the brick.

Considering that my wife and child constantly looked into the bathroom, it looked funny and unusual from the side. After analyzing the shave, I think that it coped with its main idea, a compact, gentle, friendly women's razor, and it copes perfectly.

Will I shave with it again, and why not - it was a great first experience.

Never seen a bloody bricky shave
Sorry, my English isn't very good, and I didn't quite understand your sentence. You shaved with a similar razor and didn't get a close shave? Or is it because of the overall red background?

Dainteeshave looks like a mini-brick, short word for bricky as in tiny brick
