I am a wetshaver since July 2014 when I left many-blades-cartridge-razor for a double edge safety razor, a Merkur 23C.
Many razors, soaps, brushes and after shaves later I moved to single edge razors, both vintage and contemporary and enjoyed even more shaving.
Then I practiced straight with a Feathee Artist SS razor, starting from guard blades and ending with Proline P30; what a good sensation shaving that way!
A little more courage and I bought my first straight, a little Solingne 4/8 for really a few money in a flea market. A new world opened to me ...
Now I shave only with straights; should I be in a hurry, I reach a vintage Merkur Progress from middle 50s or a couple of Gillette, a British Aristocrat #16 (wonderful razor, makes you feel "important") or a humble Gillette Tech with heavy ball point handle (what a surprising razor, pretty mild yet very efficient).
