Drugs down and getting covered by cereal crumbs so we decided to add to our shave journal...

A bit of luck has happened for my shave hobby. Just after finding the bday Gillette another box of my junk was found. Mostly junk but some shave gear was in the junk. 2 are straights i was trying to make honing kits for it was a PIMA to ship them to get them honed. Because of the disabilities we developed i have to decide how to get rid of them... i don't want to recyclable trash them...

Another razor is an oldie gotten from a flea-market gift thing. I have to start researching it again. Another fun hobby thing...

My last 2 SOTDs taught me that 2 razors means i need to change a blade after feeling it is done and not do it before a SOTD i ge... squirrel... and forgot to change the blade... i think it's going to be a week rotation of the razors... this week is the bday quarterish razor. Both razors have an ASTRA Superior Platinum loaded up.

The 345 Soap Co. sample kicked it's tiny bucket. A good soap i will get more samples of in the future. I get samples because full pucks/bars of soap last me around a year and i like to try different flavors and storage for shave gear is small. I think the gifted to me forum friend made Sauvage IV will be used for 4 shaves a great flavor and lather...

No SOTD today not much fur yet we'll slice it off tomorrow...

AHOY!

So our last 2 SOTDs we ended up with weepers and irritation. The dry fall air up here has been bad for our body. It's been several moons since our body reacted this way to the weather. Alum and PSB help but the dry face gets scraped up bad. We are looking into body lotion and things to see if that will help moisten up our skin. We found a small bottle of pre-shave oil and will try that for our next SOTD which should be before going to see Jaws 50th wednesday afternoon in a theater...

Side-note... Jaws is a movie we've seen on beaches sitting in the Right Ocean if high tide's timing matches up. A local homeless charity group shows movies on the beaches/boardwalks throughout the summer Jaws is usually shown around it's release date of June 20... a movie almost a moon younger than us we've seen over 100 times...

We're going to ogle ATGS... bye-bye...

had a little bit of luck and found a box that turned out to be one of the few boxes of our stuff that was brought here before we were... in it was the rest of our collection of shaving gear we thought was thrown out... will go through what's here but we saw the shavettes and wanted to see if we could shave with one...

it was slow but at least on the cheek and neck areas not much trouble... we had a handlebar moustache for awhile and haven't shaved there with a shavette... that's where the bloodletting happened from a couple of slices and heavy weepers(?)... our hand/s have slowly been getting better but they're not ready for a full shavette shave... should be adding a shavette to our SOTDs but just doing the cheek areas...

this slow SOTD took a episode and a half (an hour or so) of the show Supernatural which when it was on tv we only got to the 5th season... we're currently in the 10th season...
