I would say for me a generous 26mm

The ideal size I would say is 25mm but it’s not standard. I love Semogue Owners Club 24mm Finest and Semogue Barbear Português 26mm Silvertip.

Small size area:- 24/26mm
Medium size area:- 26mm

28mm silksmoke I set high as possible in 30mm hole was so hard to splay that I ended cutting it and placing cashmere instead of it.

My 30mm Synbad in ApShaveCo handle. I set it lower than I normally would, mainly to try and reduce the glue bump. As it happens, I like it a lot, makes short work of even the most recalcitrant soap!

I admit everything . The APShaveCo handle was 'scratch and dent' at less than 5 euros; no sign of scratches or dents either... Hefty, highly polished and long enough for high-walled bowls. Go for it!
