We needed some last weekend, bought our normal large pack as were a family of 4. Thought were we're lucky to get it with all the panic buying. Just done our normal shop again this weekend, loads of stuff out of stock.

Not stupid but brave. As brave as the poor shop assistant who draws the short straw and has to fill the shelf of hand sanitiser...
That shop assistant has the afternoon off...
I've started panic buying myself. I bought 4 pints of milk today instead of my usual 2.

I buy in bulk when on offer. Always have.
Got 48 Cushelle from Tesco for cheap a couple of weeks ago, then Velvet 9s went into the deal of the week at Spar for £2 a pop beginning of March so I bought 5 packs of that.
Haven't bought any since the Covid-19 became newsworthy.
It's my standard practice to keep an eye out for offers for stuff that is non-perishable and that I will always have a use for.
Toilet rolls, razor blades, tins of baked beans, chick peas, sweetcorn, tuna, etc. I always have a small supply.
My motto: It's better to be looking at it than for it.
When my stock is low , I look for more and if a deal pops up I'm on it. I rarely buy at full- or inflated prices.
I check hukd if I'm looking to stock up on anything in particular.

I have three children and buy as cost effectively as I can. This generally means buying bulk packs of whatever you can. We have ALWAYS bought pasta in a huge bag, and big packs of toilet roll/ beans etc etc. It just makes good financial sense.

The other day I needed toilet rolls and felt a bit guilty buying one pack of the 24 roll packs. I think I got some looks walking around town with them, but a) there were loads on the shelves, and b) there were loads of 24 packs, but not many smaller packs?

Its a bit annoying that I now feel guilt for shopping as I always have, but to be fair I know that pretty much no one else will actually cares what I do!

The toilet roll shelf in my local Asda.

I usually buy when they are on offer. I pick up a pack or two every time I go in until the offer ends.

I haven't bought any since the Apocalypse began.

Our usual pack of 20, plus a few singles in the bathrooms.

I don't understand the madness over toilet paper.

I can see extra food, water, and meds, but the rest is just nuts!

We normally keep 20-50 rolls on hand. When the price drops to $5 a pack of 12 we buy a bunch.

There was once a sale at our local co-op chain that was $7 US for a 24 pack of the 'double' rolls, and I bought 16., That's the most toilet paper I ever owned lol.
