This is an aerial photograph of the High Island Reservoir in Hong Kong, I was involved behind the scenes in the construction of this reservoir which was built to reduce the dependency on China for water supplies.
The odd shapes are called rip rap and designed to break up wave force, each piece of rip rap is about the size of a Ford Transit
I was lost in the memory, I have just noticed that there are people lying on the concrete chunks.

Charlie loves the beach, he would run all day and every dog and every person was a friend for life, he enjoyed his day so much that he refused to get back in the car and had to be be picked up and carried.
Covid meant that his owners could not take him to the beach. Instead of carrying him from the beach, they carried him to the beach for one last time.

Not a great photo as it was at the traffic lights. Mercedes Benz GT. Absolutely stunning, sounded fantastic too. It was sure turning heads. Fair play to the owner using a £200k new car for driving not sat in a garage.
