Is this you daily carry / pocket dump ? Nice gear !
This pic has got me into trouble in the past. One womanon another forum took exception to the image and went nuts because she regarded it as 'gender stereotyping' which, apparently, is a bad thing but, to my mind is unavoidable and she would be perfectly welcome to set out a dozen or so things that make her happy and comfortable.

The reason for the post is that it is an attractive composition, a good pic, all items are the same colour for example and there are some nice objects. I don't know what the brown leather envelope object is at the top left and have no interest in knives but I have the boots, pens, Lange and Sohne watch and the wooden bowl for coins, as regards the bottle being essential, well, I would be happy to sit round a table and share the whisky with you guys as we set the world to rights.

Looking at the pic again, I am reminded of the advice from my father, some well made things look even better when they have a bit of age to them, it shows that they have been used and loved.

How petty some people have become. Great image and colours love it. Yeah, lived in is good, shows the items for the quality they are.

Could the brown leather envelope object be a pocket coin pouch?

Could the brown leather envelope object be a pocket coin pouch?

Bob

Not sure Bob, I am guessing that the man would leave his change at home. I have seen something similar for carrying credit cards or even pre- payment travel cards (Oyster cards in London)

I can see some pens in the pic, I thought that it could be some form of notebook but then this mans notebook should look like this.

Sorry, we seem to have drifted from the Pic of the day theme, if anyone takes objection please just say Enough in a post and we will move on. Thanks.
