It’s funny how good my daughter is at photography. The picture above may not be the best example. I’ve always enjoyed photography myself and I’ve even taken classes in high school and all. People would compliment my pictures often and I felt pretty confident and sometimes accomplished with what I could produce. When my daughter started taking photos it was always her feet. Mind you this was when she was very young. After a bit I gave her a decent camera and right away she started to amaze me. I thought for awhile that she was just getting lucky but quickly I realized that wasn’t the case. It was eerie to see her photos next to mine. Mine looked proper and stiff. Hers are dynamic and alive. Once we went to a park nearby and I challenged her to a shooting contest. I think it was twenty photos in under a hour. It was great fun. She gracelessly out shone me finding ways to compliment my attempts to capture the beauty abound. She easily beat me in all respects. I’ll post a few of hers tomorrow. It’s past this old man’s bedtime.
