A lovely little Cockatiel. We had one that imitated the phone ringing, little bugger got us on that a few times.

Ours doesn’t imitate sounds thankfully. But ours does a few tricks. One of em are “Wings Up”

Riley will hold em up especially when showing off to us but will do it on command.

Wonderful !

I never thought a bird could be such a great “pet” member of the family. My wife has bad allergies and honestly I don’t like dog owners and that has turned me off to dogs. Cats are cool but that’s what she’s most allergic to. Riley is so fun and interactive with all of us, treating each of us differently. They can make a bit of a mess but all pets do. We don’t know if Riley is a male or female so we use pronouns to cover both. I thought it would appropriate and it makes great practice for the changing societal norms. They don’t behave strongly one way or the other. We may never know.
