I'm wondering if it's related to the Online Safety Act. I imagine most of Imgur is SFW but I wouldn't be surprised if they just decided complying was too much of a pain in the butt.
It is, they were about to be fined so they just pulled out of the U.K.
A pain in viewing certain forums etc

if you use the second tab on the insert image s (ctr-p) button. you can post a link from another image site like the many that exist (imgur etc). it will have no (or at least far less) size restrictions.
in other words all my pictures post in large size

Just discovered using a VPN works, however it’s not something I want to permanently do
I only use VPN for online banking, financial transactions, shopping, paying bills, anything containing for personal privacy information related to online documents that need filling out online, also watching Netflix.

I do this with a sandbox security browser, that stays inside the box, and everything gets deleted automatically when you finished using the browser so all the information gets deleted.

Vpn is great for viewing Netflix libraries from other countries because they have different films on offer.

Is there a way to increase the size of a photo when uploading via Cntr+P , without losing quality? Because , when uploading, it automatically reduces it, and when you try to physically stretch the image , the quality drops.

You might like to try an alternative system by clicking Attach Files.

If you then click on Insert and Full Image

What I have found purely by accident, Newspapers that I couldn't view, because I needed to subscribe to and pay a monthly fee, when I use my VPN, set the server to the US, I can view them and comment for free. I have no idea how that works, but it does.

There are many things censored and/or difficult to access for UK and EU, it's very unfortunate. There are several accounts on social media by Brits dedicated to the subject.

My local WalesOnline, which works with The Mirror, The Express, I haven't tried many, but it's giving me access to a few that you normally have to pay for. I'm running CyberGhost 8 VPN. Also works on the Washington Post and the New York Times.
