Phoenix and Beau Whitechapel

I finally got to use this stuff this morning and as expected, awesome performance and scent from Phoenix and Beau. I own several of their other offerings (Spitfire, Imperial Rum, Sanskrit, Coda, Pall Mall, and Albion)

I love P & B's scent offerings, as they seem to be somewhat complex. Spitfire is one of my top scents, along with Leviathan. I am finding as I try more soaps that I seem to keep coming back to the darker, more layered scents.

Again, I love Phoenix and Beau's soaps and am always pleased with the performance and skin conditioning that I receive from them.

Any other Phoenix and Beau fans out there?

Yep I like P&B soaps. I still have a sample of the original pass around Kerry offered to tweek his soap base (about 4 years ago). We also started of the Obsidian label which I now believe he carries all year. Gorgeous scent.

I have 8 I think. It was P&B that turned me into proper artisan shaving soaps.

Big fan of spitfire and star noir. Bought both Whitechapel and Baskerville but found them too similar, dark and Smokey

Anyone called me?

I definitely like these soaps. The slickness is so good that even Feather cannot dig in to my skin. I just can't feel the blade of the lather is too dense.

But remember: No slickness at all as Master @Nishy mentioned if you don't add tons of water in the lather to mix up really good.

I found Whitechapel to be similar to Spitfire in a sense, but not quite the same exact profile. I love the smokey, leathery smell that both Spitfire and Whitechapel offer.

Barbershop smells: Floid Suave & Vigoroso, Pashana Lotion, B&M Seville, Proraso Green, Felce Azzurra Shower Gel.

None of them smell the same with each other. Still, they are all barbershop smells.

To me Barbershop smell is also the Proraso Blue, but few people agree.

I own B & M's Seville, along with Noble Otter's Barrbarr, both of which are noted to be of the "Barbershop" profile. Neither one of them smell remotely the same, so it does seem that the Barbershop scent is very wide and varying, which is not a bad thing. I haven't tried Stirling's Barbershop yet, but it seems to get some good reviews.

Repeat purchases included: White Chapel, Baskerville and Pall Mall (I like dark, smokey or fruity)

I may be the only member really fond of Pall Mall. I may need to order quickly as discontinued.
