Phoenix and Beau Oberon

Well, my Solaris is getting pretty low now. Decisions - to order another - connaughts still have some left, but as it's discontinued it would probably be my last one. I could pre-order Oberon and wait until end of august, or go for the Pall mall when it comes out mid-august. I imagine in typical forum fashion, the advice will be just to get all of them.

Decision made - Oberon it is. I would kick myself if all you guys are going on about how wonderful it is in September, and I'd missed my chance to get some before it sold out. Pre-order made.

Any one else looking forward to that one?

(I wonder if I will be able to resist the Pall Mall when it comes out? I've got plenty of soap - but never quite enough it seems)

@halvor - V60 is on the testing bench and needs a few things ironing out / amending, e.g. I want the smell of real coffee to be more prominent. It is however a great shave that adds to the experience of shaving via the triggers I get from that fresh coffee scent. We'll get it there. The lather is a very light coffee colour (as you'd expect from using finely ground coffee) and genuinely reminiscent of the best foam on a cappuccino, albeit with no bubbles

Now this also sounds rather exciting and rather different to anything I've tried. I love fresh coffee. Foolishly, I was beginning to think I'd got my soap acquisition disorder under control.

(I'm also very pleased with myself as I have finally figured out how to do a multi-part quote AND inserting emoticons. Very basic I know, but made me happy )

I talk to him and he discribed me the aroma. Maybe someone had tasted some sample before. I think it is "floral". What do you think?
