Could I ask your advice, gents?

I've just received 4 packets of Perma-Sharp Süper blades from Paul at Connaught Shaving. I haven't used these blades before, but was recommended to try them. I used them this morning for the first time and found them to be extremely smooth and efficient, but I was surprised to see no writing/markings on either side of the blade. The blade is completely blank. The photo on Connaught shows writing, as do the blades of the person recommending them. Can anyone shed some light on these blades? Newer blades?

Certainly sharp and smooth so not particularly worried, especially as bought from Paul. Just strange to see a totally blank blade.

These seem to be coming out every nook and cranny at the moment. Had the same issue with Sputnik, Astra, Polsilvers and Sharks. However I purchased them all of a reputable eBay seller. None of the above were as smooth as the 'originals'. Infact it was only the Gillette 7 O'clock greens that were identical in looks and performance to the originals (bought another 200 immediately). Something strange is going on. Glad they are as smooth, will be interested to hear if that's the case for the whole tuck.

Interesting. I only bought 20 blades as first time use. I'll use them for two shaves each which should highlight any differences between the blades, pretty quickly.
I'll have a word with Paul, too, as this is unknown until the box is opened.

All of my Perma-Sharps have writing, but I haven't added to my stash in over a year.

@Optometrist David, my Perma-Sharp have name SUPER and not SÜPER and on blade are words PERMA-SHARP STAINLESS. Great blades IMO.

They're the ones I've seen in pics, Petr.
My first blade worked exceptionally well in the RS-10, this morning.

They are laser etched just like the new Astra Platinums, only on one side, which is a strange decision.

Sorry, Paul. My mistake. Just taken another look at yesterday's blade in good light and yes, there's laser etching on one side. I blame it all on yesterday's dingy weather!
