Just a lovely shave with this piece of kit. So light, maneuverable and smooth moving on the skin, it truly is an outstanding shaver and is near perfect for a nonchalant daily shaver. Getting the Barby heated up with Charcoal & Maple for some wings, burgers & steaks. Accompanied by a few cold brews. Doesn’t get any better…

I prefer to get the latest release, I'm told from a wet shaver on Aussie forums he has two different Paradigm Diamondback SS version are not the same aggression level. So I don't know what the latest setup version on the Copper?

His has the 2019 and 2020 version.

Edit:- I'm aware there's a Diamondback 2019 available, but, doesn't sell it outside of UK.

Not entirely sure about the details, but I recall there was some controversy over one of these stainless steel versions having been polished to death. With the recent Ti model, it was stated that a polishing method would be used that would not affect the tolerances. I think it‘s reasonable to assume Andy would have used the same method for the Copper version. So, what you are getting is the Diamondback that shaves the way Andy intended it to.

I'm going to email Andy from Paradigm on Wednesday, IF, that's his name? and asked him, IF, a SS version for next year?

He generally keeps his cards close to his chest. If I remember right there is something in the works. DFS is the place to keep an eye on.

Agreed. Andy does keep it close to the vest. Looking forward to the couple of new designs he has in the works. The new Ascender Eagle looks to be promising as well. We shall see soon enough, hopefully.

Salud Gents & Happy Grilling....:cheers::hungry:

I found the Ti very uncomfortable to use but have no issues with the copper.
As the machines dimensions are all supposed to be the same. I can only put my problem down to the polishing process taking too much off the cap and creating more blade exposure.

Had a similar issue with the Rex Konsul. I could see the cap had been over fettled and rounded off the edges.
A replacement was sent out and the shave was a lot better 👍🏻

It's one of the reasons why I try to keep away from polished razors.
The other, they are a pain to keep pristine condition 🤣
