One of those questions: What next? Rocca V4 Birch, Timeless .95 or Tatara Nodachi?

So, I wanted to write a long post but instead I decided to keep it short. I kindly ask for the opinion and the experiences of gentlemen out here who have tried the above mentioned razors - what to buy next?

Couple of things to mention about my current routine: Daily shaver during the weekdays (or every other day now with the never ending teleworking) and I prefer the blade feeling as a reminder to go light with the pressure. So no mild shavers for me, I prefer efficiency given my type of beard.
I'm enjoying my Muhle Rocca V3 and still struggling to like the Karve SS D (SB and OC). Indeed the Karve OC-D is more efficient than the Rocca but after one year of use I still can't find the D-OC / SB comfortable or efficient enough while going ATG. I decided that the level of frustration over this issue is enough so time to move on to another razor.
One thing I like is the clamping force of the Karve and I think this is a major benefit of modern razors, all of the above ticking this box (hopefully Rocca V4 as well).

I pretty much fancy a Timeless .95 SS (scalloped or OC) and that because to me it resembles a lot to the head of the Merkur Progress (which I like and wish it existed in SS as well). The price + international shipping+ customs is a discouraging factor, I can only hope the shaves would be the best of all.
The next one would be the V4 Rocca but with a birch handle. I find it exquisite in this world of SS,Ti,unobtainium or whatever style&design handles. Price wise, it is the most accessible of them all.
Still not decided wether I like the Tatara Nodachi or not, but I read a lot of good reviews about it's comfort/efficiency balance, the unicorn that I am also chasing.

I know this is the ever green conundrum of wet shavers but I call on your experience and opinions in order to make my (not so informed but more YMMV) choice.

Thank you!

This is a good observation. I like Progress too, :). And this kind of razor head shape is the best for me. All razors you mention are good but in my opinion Timeless is the best of them..it is so smooth and efficient.

And Timeless 0.95 in particular.

Timeless sounds like the appropriate choice. Nodachi will be similar to the Karve IMO and I can't comment on the Rocca, except the previous version was too rough on the face for me. Titanium (0.95 SB) will afford some pressure, stainless steel (0.95 OC) requires a lighter touch.

Just get the Blackbird imo.

Otherwise V4>Nodachi>Timeless.

This probably sounds contrary to the current common trends, but the V4 is a great, affordable shaver.
If Karve is not doing it for you, I doubt Timeless will as both offer relatively large gaps with modest exposure.
Nodachi feels like a Blackbird but not quite there so you might as well go for the real thing.

Timeless Bronze will do it for you.
@Wayne is right

The bronze Timeless are a fair bit cheaper too.
I've recently acquired a Timeless Bronze 0.38 SB
The blade gap is misleading - the blade geometry is what makes it work well.
The open comb version, as I understand it, is quite aggressive/assertive.
If you buy from Maggard Razors, they usually put a low price on the customs label which helps to avoid import duty and RM handling fee

I had the Bronze O.C and it was a beast of a razor, manageable but it gave a really close shave it also looked absolutely beautiful.

Thank you gentlemen! I am grateful for your time & advice.
I don’t know what to say about the Bronze Timeless. It looks amazing when new but the patina would be a pain in the..over time.

Would the .95 OC SS blade feel be the same with Merkur Progress on 3-3,5?
That is my sweet spot efficiency/comfort and this question came up after studying both heads. Anyone using both can confirm? If it is so, then we have a winner.
Blade angle seems similar which is good for my neck/ATG.

I think Progress around those settings is near Timeless OC .95. Progress has some blade chatter at higher settings maybe but Timeless like zero blade chatter.

Ok, ok I need to confess... After more than one year since my last razor (Karve) I gave in for the Timeless Ti .95 scalloped.
This is also based on your advice, for which I thank. All e reviews are praising it a lot, putting it above Karve or others.
Now, hopefully I will not regret it, as this is the most expensive razor I’ll own.
I was just looking for THE RAZOR..you know? 🙄 ( says me keeping an eye out for Rocca birch V4 and the Taiga adjustable)
Isn't it they all look like THE final razor?

Sooo, which one is better? :P The rocca or timeless? I have a V3 which I love (the steep angle, sound when cutting, level of aggression and efficiency). V4 head is on the way to compare.
