Old New Boy

Morning All,

Just joined the community but have been wet shaving for over 50 years so not exactly new to the experience.

Started with my father's gillette twist to mow down the "bum fluff' (English expression) and have accumulated numerous razors over the years including modern and vintage de, AC, gems and straights.

I now have way too many but use them all, just takes time.

Unusually I have reactions to shaving soaps, creams and oils so have always shaved with just cold water, it's a bit tricky and angle and pressure even more important but guess I've just got used to it over the years.

Anyway enough about me I'm now looking forward to reading the threads.

Cheers n beers from the UK.

Hello and welcome!

Wow, do ALL soaps and creams really affect your skin that badly? I’ve never come across a case like that before. Interesting.

Wow, Glenn Miller, quite the name!

You can use regular bath soap for shaving, it works just fine.
