João, the package arrived freezing cold and scents are only just coming out. The Traditionalist smells very similar to B&M Soft Heart Sandalwood with a peppery addition. Black Wood is still difficult to smell.

They tend to be lower than some of the American artisans, Heather prefers aiming for skin sensitivity issues over scent strength. I’ve never had one that was just BANG straight out of the tub, but you always pick it up as you go.

Thank you David. I think I’ll go for the Traditionalist when available in EU, so far I’ve liked all the scents that I’ve tried from Shawn Maher.
