Apparently available now in "DM' drugstores in Germany.

It would be really surprising if it wasn't made in China.

It was my understanding many of the Solingen brands such as Timor buy in from China and package in Solingen, much like Edwin Jagger and Sheffield... Though I'm sure they would never admit it

I hope it is true, because if not then German manufacturing has been surpassed by China... Current day Merkur quality control is non-existent.

WTF? The handle on the box looks nice, the real thing is boring. I'd return the razor immediately.
