I'm liking the head but not the handle.
I'm assuming it takes Feather blades though?

I like the handle and head combo myself - it's quite an 'art piece'. Would be nice if it shaved as well :)

There are no specs as far as I know. It's a prototype by Charcoalgoods and I doubt we'll see anything this side of Christmas.
Still, looks nice.

very interesting - amazing finish for a prototype. I like the industrial look, but it looks very heavy - I wouldn't know whether to chop down small trees with it or mow down stubble!

I can see it being owned by a Baron in some steampunk setting.
Having an early shave as his steam powered aeroship leaves for New London.
I thought it was just a computer rendering - but you might be right. Oh technology..it's so close to being magic these days.

I thought this also, as in computer generated.
Will have to wait for specs, I'm sure you'll see before myself and post them up.

Yes - I think you right. The handle reflections look 'odd'. State of the art renderings are incredibly realistic now.

It does look like a 3d mock up to me, possibly autocad for the design spec. Which they'd prob use for the manufacture stage anyway. Then feed that design template into rhino 3D with flamingo pluggin and finished in photoshop to blend down and make more realistic. Not uncommon to have early prototype looking this realistic for even a newbie to design work if its basic know materials, wood table, different metals etc. The software has so many presets that if you have a good cad spec file its easy.

But as for the razor looks nice but just not into a thors hammer in weight for my shaving tool lol. It would prob be a statement piece in a glass cabinet unless made of titanium or aluminum to cut down weight. And the hex alankey bolts on top appear to be how the head cap and base plate are located/held together. That would be a mission every time to change the blade.

Brian is producing 3D razors so he has the equipment. But this will probably be CNC machined if he decides to make them. I am in.
