I would check the 5A fuse first of all, anything else not working that may be on the same fuse?

Fuses are always a cheap fix before you get into the modules.

If there is a parking sensor button on some models they can be reset by pressing and holding the button down for 30 seconds.

Parking sensors and WD40 are best kept apart BTW
I can rule out the fuse. On my way home tonight there was neither message nor bongs leading me to believe that, at the time, the car thought that all was well. I didn’t have to reverse so could not confirm that the sensors were operational, however as fuses are either working or dead it must be something else.

Some cars have a control button on the module which is often under the bumper. Press the button for five seconds.

Took the car out and while backing out of the garage the too close warning on the driver's side was blaring then quit once out of the garage. First stop for groceries I wipe that sensor with my glove and had no trouble since. Sometimes they just get dirty.

I did a little marketing today and splurged on a beautiful bowl of precut fruit in addition to my more traditional assortment of whole apples, pears, berries and bananas. Placed beautifully near the apex of the assorted melons, berries and citrus, sat a lone piece of kiwi. My mouth watered for that kiwi. I reeeeally wanted that kiwi. And what happened as soon as I lifted the lid? The kiwi slid to the floor! That’s what! Listen, just between friends, I don’t remember when the floor was last mopped. Freaking kiwi hit the trash and I spot cleaned the kitchen floor grumbling all the while about the beautiful slice of kiwi I will never know 🥝 I suppose mop the floor needs to hit the to do list.
Honestly, I'd have rinsed that under the tap and eaten it anyway.
"10 Second Rule" applies here 😂

Yesterday the inside lights began to flicker on and off. I used the override switch to turn them off. When I got home I cleaned the door jam switches which resulted in the lights not going off at all. After a trip I turned the override switch off and the lights began to function properly. There is a video on how to lubricate the latch mechanism which I think I will do today. The way the lights were flickering causes me to think it was because of a shifting of the doors, which are very heavy on the 1998 Chevy trucks.

Works for me.

True, but Charlie needs to clean his floor which will improve the utilization of the 10 second rule. :roflmao:
If Gayle was here and was still mopping the floor with her usual regularity, I would have enforced the 5 second rule. But frankly that sucker was a filthy germ laden hot mess the instant it hit the tile.

I use a mop and bucket combo made by "O-Cedar" and I never need to stoop or touch the mop head. I add some white vinegar and tiny bit of Dawn to hot water. Then I hang the replaceable mop head to dry. I like to say, "it's not woman clean", but it's good enough". LOL!!

I saw one of those red buckets in our cleaning supplies closet. Has a spinner feature that wrings out excess water from the mop head. I used to watch Gayle use it.

I was trying to ignore its existence, but now that I’ve outed my reduced housekeeping routine, I can hide it no longer. As soon as my ailing back allows, I’ll get right on it :meh:

All you girls persons are very impressive with your domestic talk I have oak floors so I am a little cautious about too much water, just use a Leifheit spray mop on through a microfibre cloth, wood floor cleaner in the spray and job is done quickly.

Microfibre cloth in the wash and no buckets to empty or mops to wring out.
