Will 10-32 fit my Fatip thread?
Screw on, yes. Fit properly, no.

10-32 is close enough to M5 that it's sort of compatible-ish. The Fatip thread is 4.5mm (I think!), 10-32 will be a sloppy fit at best and the threads won't be properly engaged.

Edit - 10-32 is nominally 4.826 mm, so if the tolerances are tight a 10-32 handle won't fit an M5 head. A 10-32 head will mostly fit an M5 handle.

Karve being in Canada you'd think they'd know better and use metric, although in my case I'd be buying the handle to use with my Karve razor which is also 10-32.

Yes, you are right in that it will be a sloppy fit and the threads won't be properly engaged. OTH, manufacturing tolerances, being what they are, makes it possible to get a 10-32 threaded handle to accept an M5 head and be tight enough to securely hold for shaving. I have used a vintage Fat Tech handle on my Fatip head. You may have to try several handles to find one that works. That same Fatip head now has a RR SS Bulldog handle on it with no problems during shaving.

Canada is not as metric as you would think after going metric all those years ago. I am having a new garage built and it will be 22 ft X 26 ft. We live too close to the US to go 100% metric as it would hurt exports of manufactured goods. You really want to puzzle an American, just talk fuel economy in MPG as we use the Imperial gallon, and they use the US gallon. Fuel economy here is given as litres per 100 kms and is incomprehensible to most Americans also. I will say that younger generation are much more comfortable with using metric measures. My Nephew's eyes glaze over when I tell him my car gets X MPG.
