Good lad! The very latest formulation?
They have just reformulated again within the last two or three months and it is a mark-up on the already good reformulation from last year. By quite a margin, I'd say ... as I'm very much of the thinking that my vintage will go in the loft and what a waste having backup refills. I prefer this new new formulation.
Latest bowl design, I see ... that "Original 1800s Formula" thing now gone and I think the design looks a lot cleaner.
Bravo, Mitchell's ... strength to strength. Like Tabac did.

Pentesodium Pentetate was outlawed fully by the EU in December 2023 prompting reformulations across the board. Tetrasodium Iminodisuccinate appears to have replaced that ... so, cue "Tetrasodium Iminodisuccinate" is evil in the coming years. Presence of "Sodium Laurate" and "Potassium Laurate" is a good indicator of a 2024 style shaving soap formulation - yes, this ingredient has existed before and may actually just be a more accurate way of expressing "Coconut Fatty Acids" but presented in this way is kind of a new thing for shaving soaps and has not been a think across several hundred soap formulations that I've collected over the years.
Anyway, that's an aside ...

I noticed a few folks on the 'Worst Shaving Soap' thread citing MWF and I do get what you're saying. I was "one who could" (lather it) and loved it! It's certainly attracting "folks who couldn't" with the classic MWF. To be frank, the short-lived 2023 formulation was actually very good and it should be as it was pretty much T&H's mainstream formulation with the addition of lanolin but the 2024 is something else!pjgh on TSR said:

I think it is the last formulation
I tried it yesterday and I really liked it, in my opinion it is at least as good as the Tallow version but much better lather
