Heavily mentholated from what I've read ...

There was a chap on TSR who used it a lot. Bandito, was it?

No opinion on this, but when I was living in Asia I purchased "Man-Dom" aftershave (from the same company) and the more upscale Shiseido Tonic Water/Lotion.
Have seen it on the shelves at Yodobashi but at the end did not purchase.
Japanese after shaves -liquids and lotions- certainly have a character.

EDIT: I noticed the eBay listing says "fragrance free". Therefore at first glance I would assume it is unscented, just like the tonic/lotion water Shiseido I used to own. These, in general terms, come by definition with some non-negligible degree of post-application moisturization. In other words, the post-shave feel they offer is more closer to that of TWH or Thann Shiso rather to a Western-based after shave (like AV for example).

Thanks Konstantinos. I'm not familiar with TWH or Thann Shiso. Does that mean Mandam is more or less moisturizing than AV? Thanks, Paul

I own one of those.
Actually it's scentless and subtly mentholated. Not amongst my best asl's, low moisturization, lovely bottle though.
Mandom it is.

I meant it is supposed to be more post-shave moisturizing than an AV or Mennen, etc.
My bad, should have used full names.

TWH means Thayers Witch Hazel and Thann Shiso is a lovely after shave from Thailand, with shiso extract and witch hazel inside.
