Mühle release new shaving sticks

Quite a rare occurrence for a new shave stick to hit the market. Mühle has just released a range of 37g sticks in their standard range of scents; Aloe, Sandalwood & Sea Buckthorn. Quite expensive for the amount of soap you get... Seems an odd business decision to me, I can see these being a flop before inevitable discontinuation in 12 months... But what do I know

I think, given that so many people now buy to try/play, that it makes sense to make smaller portion sizes.
I am surprised more people don't do it.
I also agree though, that is a lorra lorra cash for 37g.

They don’t even ship these Mühle sticks to Canada. Even if they did I wouldn’t pay so much. Thanks anyway.

If I can get one this side of the pond, I'll try one at the lower price point for shits and giggles. You never know it just might be the right size for a compact travel kit. that is if they work well. OTH it is going to take a lot to displace Arko and Palmolive shave sticks for that purpose.

Hmmn I’ve tried their Aloe Vera Shaving cream, it’s ok but not sure I would buy again. So jury is out on the shave stick!.

I'm assuming it's the same soap recipe as their regular 60g cakes/pucks... In which case it's good but nothing exceptional. I doubt it's quite up to Speick, Tabac or Arko performance wise, but could be nice to have for a change.

I've only tried the sea buckthorn scent and it is a sweet citrus, very nice.

Yes, I'd agree on their performance if it is anything like their regular pucks. Mind you an empty container would make a dandy holder for Arko for travel.
