Completed Loupe recommendations

I'm looking for your suggestions on a loupe, it is just for basic general inspection use, blade edge, watch and the like
I was thinking 10x23, which should offer clear and decent magnification with little distortion.
I don't want to pay a lot as such Bergeon, Omega and like are not an option. Are the Amazon offerings any use? and or what would you recommend?

I would say to get a 10X loupe with a flat field of view, a coated lens to bring all the light spectrum to one point and a triplet lens. You don't have to break the bank to get such a high quality loupe. I have and used a Belomo 10x triplet loupe with satisfaction.

I use a Belomo 10X Loupe.

I have a few loupes, mainly 5 and 10x. Obviously less powerful than the 25x plus you can buy but so much easier to focus.

An embarrassing admission. I am increasingly reaching for my loupe, my reading glasses are just not powerful enough, when I want to check the ingredients on food products and even the instructions.

Why the hell produce printed instructions when you need strong magnification to read them.

The simple answer is because they’re legally required to and they probably don’t want you to know how much crap is in the ingredients…

I use my phone. Take pic and magnify. But I can see myself wearing a magnifying glass like old people did when I was a kid. Im now getting towards that age!
