A week ago I sent off an email to Kent asking about an old red brush that I had bought on eBay asking them if they knew anything about it - and today I got the following in my inbox:
"After some digging I have found it - it is an R24 Real Badger brush- looking
in great condition I must say!
Its from 1940's-50's era
I have attached the page from the catalogue ,

Photo of my red, old brush:
The image that Kalie attached to her reply:
Now, here's a funny thing...at the very TOP of that same page is...the the OTHER vintage Kent brush I recently bought (model K528):
Someone asked about that very same brush on another forum - seven years ago - and had received this from Kent:
"I have managed to find out that this brush was made in the late "60", the last time I can find it on a price list is 1971 and it had a retail cost of £14.00 .
It was in our economy range of shavers having a plastic handle and filled with badger."
So, Kent helped me identifying two of their old vintage brushes.
Love it when a company cares about their history and also goes out of their way to help someone who obviously didn't pick up the brush new last week.
Well done Kent
