What's wrong with that knot? Maggard two bands are pretty good!
Nothing mate it's a belter I'm moving away from Badger knots though to synths, I didn't want to ruin the knot cutting it out but I siliconed it in and didn't use a lot so it popped out. May as well sell the Badger which I'll put on the BST now and I've ordered an AP Shave Co 28mm 2 Bed knot just now to replace it.

Did you steam it out?
No Simon, see above, set it with a tiny bit of Silicone so it eventually fell out when I was getting the lather from the knot, it's happened on other brushes, 2 weeks ago it happened on one of my SV brushes.

Is that like a vegan thing @Wayne or have you just had it with badgers

It's not a Vegan thing mate, I'm no evangalist or indeed vegetarian I personally just think if I can get a shave without a Badger getting it in the neck then why not? My shaves don't suffer, why should a Badger?
I've no problem with anyone else choosing Badger it's each to their own mate.
Defo buddy:)

Recommend away, this shaver don't dig on Swine though.
It was a small joke about TobyC's love for Boar brushes!

I really like fan/flat top type synth knots, I think you made a good choice with the 2Bed, please report back once you've got to know it.

You've let me down Toby.

You should be recommending a boar knot.
Oh I do, I do!!! But I installed a 28mm Maggard two band in a nice Rubberset barber handle brush for my son and it's pretty amazing! That was a couple of years ago and he still loves it, rarely uses anything else.

Nothing but boar for me from now on though.
