Don't anything about Titan SRs...There are Plenty of Nice SRs that are Not Shave Ready Quite Cheap on UK EBay as Well..Never Bought from this Seller but they Go at Reasonable Prices with Minimal Resto Work..Its All Down to What You Wanna Pay or Want..

I have No Idea what those Windrose Own Brand Name SRs are Like..I Know One thing Tho..These Guys Know what they are Doing..They Look a Better Finish than a Dollar & Better Quality Scales for Sure..

I have bay to GD one 208 and the other is 800 stainless steel, they came shave ready without problem, but like every GD they don’t hold the age. 5 shaves maximum. I will say 7 euros itch what you want. I still use them for shaving but most for honing practicing.

A Properly Honed Gold Dollar will Hold an Edge as Long as any SR..I Used One to Learn On & Used it for around a Year..It was Never Near a Hone in that Time..I Refreshed it Once on Pastes in All that Time..They have a Very Robust Edge..Like an AK 47 they Go on Forever..

On NATO maneuvers my old man (ahem) "tried" the Ak'74 (chambered for the 5.45x39 The USSR's "secret" weapon in Afghanistan) alongside the old M16s & maybe M4 carbines. He was a Royal Navy Police small arms instructor and this was somehow vital to his training regime. He thought the '74 was superior to the M16s, but he never had to tab it over hill and dale.

Agree the 74 is a beast but as light and über reliable (simpler recycling ram) as a feather compared to a sako trg in 338 lapua mag and big scope so I have heard

Even tho' I don't really like rifles that look a bit sci-fi, I'd love to use that in 600 yard plus sling & jacket competition (tho' I suspect my shoulders wouldn't). It's pretty hard to shoot in Scotland now, quite a bit easier when I'm in Norway, but still not "easy" easy.
