This is a post especially for
@Okku who asked if I could post my Blackland collection, I didn't realise I even had one but now I am looking at it perhaps he is correct.
I could just post some photo's and leave it at that but they don't really tell the whole story and as I don't have much to do right now why not show what I have and talk through them as I would anyone looking around my Den.
to kick off lets start with this fella the Razorock Hawk, that I have with the complete set of plates.
Why? well this is how it all started, I remember being totally blown away by this razor and it led me to make a post with the heading does it get any better? the shaves it gave really were eye opening and I just wanted to see if I had found my GOAT or not.
in the post others offered some suggestions and the Blackland Vector was one of them and that's where it all began.
I was offered one after showing interest in that post and I swiftly brought it, man I was not loving the Vector at all as my old posts show, I thought I was shaving with a thin pencil and couldn't get the results close to the Hawk.
I went off to see if I was doing anything wrong and on the Blackland website Shane suggests to use nothing else other than the Vector and one make of blade for 30 days to dial it in.
bugger it, I will do the 30 days challenge because man I love a challenge and if it did not work it would be sold off, on day 14 of the challenge it just clicked and everything changed it became an amazing razor and it is still an equal favourite AC with the La Faulx.
A couple of months later I thought hey if the SE is this good I wonder what Blacklands DE offering were like? and down the rabbit hole I fell ha ha.
Here is my Blackbird set of razors.
Here we have from left to right, the Titanium Blackbird complete set, the BrassBird complete set and the AlumBird it's a special edition workshop item and did not come with any extras.
Then we have my other Blackland models.
Left to right we have the Era it's the only 3D printed razor made for the market I believe, the Titanium Osprey the photo does not do it justice and it's a marvel of engineering, the Blackland Tradere a copy of the original Tradere razor and the Blackland Dart it was a very cheap offering from Blackland and it shaved as good as if not better than the much more expensive offerings Blackland had at the time.
Left to right we have Batch 002 the Rectangle, the Blackland Sabre V2 another marvel of engineering and the Blackland SS Vector complete set.
Lastly some accessories.
Left to right we have the Shaving towel, I have 6 of these, ok ok I even have the T-shirt well 4 of them and the Blackland travel pouch to keep your razor safe when traveling.
Lastly we have my ATT razors from a company that Blackland owns so technically they are part of the Balckland family and I am sure they are made at the same place.
On the left we have the ATT S1 Slant mirror polished the complete set and the ATT Windsor mirror polished the complete set both in SS.
That's everything and if you have any questions fire away and have an amazing day.
