Hey Dipesh, Apologies for the rubbish photos but you can see the comparison to the Mergress. The spring is so short it looses any compression after less than one rotation.

So total travel is a quarter or maybe a third of the Merkur and then it just becomes loose.

in its defence the chroming isn’t bad

I don't actually have the razor, it was really food for thought for @p.b .

I’ve not taken it apart and only used it for two strokes, one 1 and at 9 because I have the Tatara pass around so it’s not fair to waste time on a different razor. I will use it later though just for shits and giggles.

Is that a Gillette Skinguard?
I've used mine a bunch of time and found it a bit nicer with the goop strip and "comb" yanked out.

Since then, I tried a bunch of other ones and ended up preferring Wilkinson Sword Barber Style cart, the Broman v1 and a Cyber Razor or Yaqi Ghost on a flexible handle.
