More importantly should it be??

I ordered a soap from PAA last month and was subsequently sent a tracking number for USPS. The item was picked up on the 20th Jun and allegedly arrived Heathrow on 23rd. Since then it has been... well nowhere actually.

Is this usual and to be expected or is someone wafting around Heathrow smelling lovely at my expense. Feel free to chip in with opinion and / or horror tales.

I've had the same thing happen before, it said it was at the sorting office for ages but then turned up safely, whilst still being at the sorting office apparently.

Yes it's normal , I've ordered vaping gear from China that's arrived in the UK after two days. Then it's been sat at Heathrow for two weeks, go figure.

Same here... My orders arrive in the UK and wait at Heathrow for two more weeks awaiting clearance. My Frank silver tip badger brush took three weeks. Had I have known how crap it was they could have kept it

This is why I couldn't bring myself to order from abroad. I like the ability to pay for next day delivery and get it here ASAP. My missus orders things from the bay of E and all the way from the far east without batting an eyelid, but I'd end up in a state of apoplexy. @Redd, I wish thee all the good fortune for your soaps safe arrival.

If there is no VAT to pay, my orders generally say arrived at Heathrow, then another day, max two, to clear customs, then another, day or two, to be delivered.
With a fee to pay, the maximum length of time I've waited for delivery, after arriving at Heathrow, has been eight days. Typically, it's more like six.
Four weeks is an extraordinary amount of time, in my experience.
