For Christmas I received the WCS Blue Titanium Collection Razor, 78BL from West Coast Shaving (via my wife.) https://www.westcoastshaving.com/safety-razor/wcs-blue-titanium-collection-razor-78bl.html
I like this razor a lot. The blue anodized handle is awesome, and the whole thing delivers a great shave. I am very curious about the head. There are many detailed photos online that show the disassembled parts of the Edwin Jagger DE 89/Muhle R89 razor head. After careful examination of all these photos, I can tell no discernible difference between the EJ DE 89/Muhle R98 and the razor head on my WCS Blue Titanium 78BL razor.
What’s up with this? Is this razor head a clone, or what? If it is a clone, is it any better or worse than the original EJ DE89/Muhle R98?
I also wouldn't mind input about the best blade for this razor, if you are so inclined.
