Currently i have enough software for several years to come, so i pause on soaps, and i'll only buy a splash if it's something i'm looking for in a long time or reeeally like it.
As for razors, i'm a straight shaver on a learning curve in honing, i have enough razors and all i do now is pacticing razor sharpening. Untill i get to a sharpness and blade longevity level i'm pleased with, i won't buy razors either. As for sharpening stones, maybe, if it fits in my modest budget.

I took a step away from wet shaving for several years. Mostly due to issues that sapped my motivation such as job loss, divorce, depression. But this month I've refound my passion for shaving and have had several very enjoyable shaves. But I don't shave every day anymore. So, I see the gear I've acquired over the year covering me until I am 6 feet under. That said, I'm actually now considering downsizing things. I have over 35 razors, many of them vintage Gillettes. And some of them I have several different or similar versions. Yet they go unused as I have settled on 3 or 4 razors as my favorites. I think I'm going to sit down, catalogue my razors and decided which ones to sell. I also have plenty of brushes and lather bowls. I have all the soaps, creams, blades and aftershaves I could need for my remaining stay on this planet. That said, I do seem to continue to sporadically buy soaps and aftershaves.
