How often do you shave?

Looking at the beautiful SOTD photos, this question came to mind. I found a thread from 2019, but that was a long time ago. I wonder how things are in 2026.

I'm a (mostly) daily shaver but sometimes will skip a day to let my skin fully recover, usually after a rough shave.

My skin doesn't care, I just don't feel like shaving every day.

When working it was every weekday morning and once on the weekend, usually Saturday night. Since retirement five years ago I generally shave every other day. Tbh, I get such a close shave that unless there’s an occasion that calls for a fresh shave, I can easily get by with skipping a day. The days between are filled with great anticipation

Wow. Pardon the question, but is such frequent and close shaving a job requirement or something you want? Does your skin have time to recover?

It's not for work...I just like to shave and prefer a full BBS.
I have a lighter complexion with dark stubble so i like a minimal post shave shadow, which i only achieve by doing 4 passes.

My skin does best with smaller gap and bigger exposure.
