Home made pre shave products

As for pre-shave, homemade or fabricated, no. I do shower and use face wash and the occasional scrub, but no oil or dedicated pre-shave product. (I have a T&H No 10 oil but found that the only product with which it really had an effect was, precisely, T&H No 10 shaving cream.)

I have experimented with adding EO to a neutral shaving cream, though, and argan or jojoba unscented or scented as post. My skin broke out, so I largely gave it up.

Angan is a weird one, I prefer marula now.
I was very anti-pre-shave for ageeeesss "It's for blokes who can't make proper lather" lurked in my mind somewhere.
I've now given up the oily kind, 'cos it makes the sink look like a bath from an 1930s flop house. I just use 2 pts Noxema + 2pts Glycerine + 1pt Rose Water + 1pt Lavender water + 1pt Witch Hazel. and I'm annoyed I didn't use it sooner - don't always start with it on, sometimes add it between passes. It's a great combo with Vicco, and usually means I require no balms + etc after shaving.
