First brush with the handle made from stabilized maple burl is now complete. Shape is scaled up Semogue SOC so it can accommodate 24mm G5C knot.

Just received this beautiful black and white ebony. It's end cut and depending on handle design it can be turned with the grain or cross the grain.
EDIT: just talked to the supplier. The wood isn't completely dry so I need to wait until August at least to use it
