Good Day All
So after shaving for 12 years, In 2015 I was official sick of hair/stubble being painfully ripped from my face! I spoke to the owner of the Old English shaving shop in South Africa over the phone wanting a straight razor (in my ignorance). He suggested a Safety Razor. After looking at his prices and almost falling over backwards, I started doing some research and picked up my first safety razor, Muhle R89... That was the turning point..... OUT WITH THE NEW (Gillette 5 blade crap) AND IN WITH THE OLD.
After doing hours and hours of reading, my collection of wet shaving products has been increasing. Often this community uses the excuse that this shaving works out cheaper than the new razors because of blade price.. This is an outright lie to encourage others to change their ways. The truth is, safety razors, brushes and soaps, just bankrupt you... But you love it anyway....
Cheers and enjoy your SOTD!!!
