Ah apologies that was very quick.
I know. I must have checked the page only an hour after the email came through to me from MdC and it wasn't possible to add it to basket. They must have just had 1 or 2 spares leftover from their shop of the Vetyver.

They certainly don't stay along for long. I just can't believe how little is needed when loading (I load for 10 seconds) for a good two pass shave.

For those of you that have tried the rose, what are your opinions?

Really would like a good Rose scent shaving soap.

I have the original and the fougere, but they leave me a bit of irritation (could be the essential oils?) and dryness after the shave.

Was considering purchasing the hule de copra pre shave..any good?

Should have the rose soon and can provide an impression. I have all the others too. What I found was if I don't use enough water, or add enough water to my lather, the EO's can cause a little irritation. This mainly occurred with the fougere and traditional. I guess if a lower strength or less complex scent was used the fragrance wouldn't be as dominant. After dialling in the correct product to water ratio I now don't have any issues with irritation. Post shave is on the drier side, which I prefer, especially in summer. I'm thinking the nature of citrus EO's for their new release will further magnify this property but will find out shortly.

Yes do let us all know what you think of the Agrumes (citrus) one. Interested to get scent descriptions from anyone who gets it.

Thank Nishy,

Will try to use more water when I use MdC next..

Look forward to your thought on the Rose scent. They have now sold out so hopefully will try to get some next time round.

They soap seems to last so long!

I agree with @Sid James, if you want a really good rose scent then Eufros Bourbon Rosa is sublime and far better than the MdC, in my opinion.

Thanks Sid James and p.b.

I have heard so many good things about Rosa Bourbon, but I was looking for a veggie based product..not sure if he makes Rosa bourbon in a veggie based formula.

The only rose based products I've tried are
TOBS cream and soap and D.R.Harris cream. I find Kewra water to instantly give an artificial but heavy rose hit. I much prefer garden rose. More of a 'green' tone with the sweet nature of rose being subdued. I am returning to more traditional scents, having used more complex bouquets.

He used to. He may still have some stock, but you'll have to email him to find out

Just realised looking back at my order history that the price of these ltd editions have gone up quite a bit since only December when they first came out. I bought the Rose in December for €52 and it's now €62 :confused:yikes!
Hasn't stopped me from snagging a Vetyver this time round though. Gorgeous scent.
