Haven't posted much so just thought I'd say hi and see what everyone's fav and cherished razor was

Rockwell is great, but so is the Qshave adjustable. 1940s Tech is brilliant, but so is the Hoffritz slant. Far, far too many smashing razors to choose from.

At the moment, and it is subject to change, I'd go for....

British Rocket HD or Eclipse for regular shaving but if I've left it a few days then I have an old Ben Hur. It's lost a fair bit of plating with the ugly pot metal showing in many places and has a huge blade gap but it's smooth as anything on thick growth and satisfyingly clunky.

My favorite is a frankenrazor which I've mentioned in umpteen posts a Velvet (Gillette Old copy) head on a Braveheart handle.

My most cherished is a gold plated two piece Old - I think it's this one. It's the only one I've ever thought of getting replated.

Gillette NEW Short Comb circa 1932-1940. $5 at the fleamarket. Locked & loaded with a Gillette Silver Blue, it's a stubble assassin.
