Plastic brushes are crap.

I use badger, boar and synthetic but horse I found to be poor. If I had one choice then I’d go with boar for all round ability and low expense.

Modern horse brushes are too soft, all they do is paint. Vintage boar are much better, 70+ years old, but there are not many of those to be had.

I enjoy Synthetics, boar and badger. I only have couple of badgers but they are nice. I do like the soft feeling of synthetics. For the month of December I used boars for that Decemboar thing. Perhaps have fallen off of the wagon once since I got some new soaps and wanted to test them properly…
