The SKUs you want are:

Stainless Personna GEM - 62-0178 (formerly 62-0165) and now AGBL-7020-0000 under AccuForge branding
Carbon Personna PAL - 62-0177 (formerly 62-0163) and now AGBL-7019-0000 under AccuForge branding

The pack in the link above show 62-0178 in the bottom left corner.

I have a pack of the new stock AGBL-7020-0000 from Connaught and they're lovely ... just like the Personna branding. Dunno if Microcoat© is a new thing for Accutec or just a new name for the old thing ... the coating.

thanks for your information. But I've never tried a GEM razor, I'm thinking about which softer blades to use. Does it offer a smooth shave? I read that you need to train well because the first few times you could cut yourself and the GEM blade razor can be dangerous risk of cuts, more like a free hand? Is this all correct?

Thank you all. I should try them just for a trial, I'll get the ten pack.
The choice between these GEM blades is rather limited, especially in Italy and I don't want to spend too much money, so the GEM Personna blades are the only option.
One good thing in your favor for just purchasing 10 is these blades provide many shaves. When I recommended eBay, I did not realize you lived in Europe. If you are unfamiliar with the Micromatic, here is the recommended angle.

Have you tried to remove the spine from a new one? It looks different, and AutoStrop users need to know.

Thanks, does this also apply to other razors that have GEM blades?
I know it applies to all actual GEM razors. TobyC comments refer specifically to the Valet Auto Strop razor which is not an actual original GEM razor.

I started a Micromatic Monday on another forum that continues according to my friends. Apparently, it served to introduce several about the old GEM blade holders. The TTO mechanism on the GEM are superior to anything Gillette produced, but only in my opinion of course.

I had tried a sample pack of GEM type and found the coated blades to be more comfortable. Having used the Micromatic before learning to use a shavette, I felt it had served as a good primer for straight use.

Not as yet ... but then I only have a VC1 (and an older 7 O'Clock) which I'd just crack the back corners off with my trusty Leatherman, but I'll certainly pop one off a used blade and see.
