our guts are a mess... many foods and ingredients... we have uncomfortable and serious "allergies" to... our pop-pop was from Hungary... he would go to a local Hungarian meat market... got us addicted to a few things... what we called dirty bread... he'd get the best rye bread from a local "bakery"... a chunk of pig fat think it's called soleinol(?)... he'd sit by a small bbq grill heating up the fat on a long fork... the fat melted and the line of us would get a good pressing of the fat on a slice or two of rye bread... you could add veggies or whatever... if you got lucky and a "cooked" piece got removed and he didn't eat it all you got a piece... what we called tv kielbasy... and paprika bacon...
