Flitz and Copper razors..

OK, so I hopefully have my Paradigm Copper Diamondback arriving on Friday... I know patina will be part of the long term process, so I'm wondering whether Flitz Instant Brass & Copper Tarnish Remover would be ok to use seeing that it is a 'no rub' product, or would the paste polish do a similar job if I let it sit for a couple of mins and rinse off.. just open for suggestions I guess seeing that this will be new ground for me... cheers.

From the manufacturer, " The copper Diamondback is in house and shipping immediately. Made from pure copper, this razor will acquire a natural patina with age. To keep it in original condition, polish it from time to time -- we recommend Flitz metal polish. "

"Acquire a natural patina", "go manky", it's all a matter of perspective.

Drying it with a microfibre cloth after ever use will help stave off and patina development

I try to do that every day…Not sure if it’s working.

Having cleaned up several 100-year-old brass holders, the patina can be removed at any time. I can't blame a member who wants to keep their new razor blade holder pristine. Enjoy @Str8_Shaver !!

Yea, the patina will grow back quick enough if you stop using the polish and regret the patina loss. Each to their own.

True, but once the new wears off, it’s impossible to reapply.
